ITC’s dosing pumps are renowned for their versatility and efficiency in various water treatments, catering to every sector and industry. They are used in potabilization, disinfection, as well as volumetric water maintenance and treatments, covering a wide range of flow rates.
At the ski resort in La Parva, there was a 14,000 m3 reservoir where water was collected directly from springs. This water passed through a filtration room and then to a chlorination room, where the systems were not automatic.
This water needed to be distributed to 3 sectors of the community, and to optimize the entire process, a water purification system was installed with filtration equipment, chlorination, pH regulation, and inline flow measurement where ITC dosing pumps were integrated. These pumps are capable of operating at low temperatures.
Before the intervention of VOENS SPA and ITC, the ski resort lacked the necessary instrumentation. The filters were disconnected, and the chlorination systems were not automatic, requiring all work to be done manually.
As a result, the water chlorination process had to be rushed to be completed by March, in order to secure potable water before winter arrived. This presented a significant challenge due to the limited timeframe and the need to operate at low temperatures, in an area inaccessible by cars due to its high altitude.
Currently, they have sufficient technology to optimize processes and obtain pure, high-quality water.
