Vlakkenheuwel produces a wide variety of products including wheat, canola, grapes and they have recently started to produce almonds.
They require the installation of efficient, precise and sustainable irrigation with water and energy use in facilities where drip irrigation is mainly used. Their water sources are the river Berg and well water.

Fertigation equipment from ITC facilitate very precise dosing and maximum quality and accuracy in water and fertiliser use, one of the main objectives of the Vlakkenheuwel team.
