A Step Forward in Reducing ITC’s CO₂ Footprint

At ITC, we’ve always been mindful of our environmental responsibilities and the impact of our operations on the planet. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and in line with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, we’re thrilled to announce a significant change in how we provide product documentation.

Farewell to Physical Manuals

Starting August 1, ITC will reduce the printing of traditional physical manuals. Instead, we will adopt a more eco-friendly and efficient solution: Quick Installation Guides printed on recycled paper. This change will not only significantly decrease our paper consumption but also help reduce our carbon footprint.

Initial Implementation

The first phase will see this change applied to our Dostec 40/50 products and their 12/24 VDC variants, as well as our mixers. These products will come with compact, eco-friendly installation guides, maintaining the high quality and ease of use our customers expect. Over time, we’ll extend this new approach to our other products.

ISO 14001:2015 Commitment

ITC adheres to ISO 14001:2015, which specifies requirements for effective environmental management systems. This certification underscores our dedication to improving environmental performance and minimising negative impacts. Moving to recycled paper is another step in our journey towards greater sustainability.

Environmental and Business Benefits

Switching to recycled paper guides offers several advantages:

  • Reduced Paper Waste: By using less paper, we minimise waste and encourage material reuse.
  • Lower Carbon Footprint: Producing recycled paper uses less energy and emits less CO₂ compared to virgin paper.
  • Alignment with ESG Principles: This initiative strengthens our commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, demonstrating our dedication to clients and partners.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Staying compliant with ISO 14001:2015 enhances our reputation and ensures our practices are internationally recognised.

Looking Forward

This is just the start. At ITC, we will continue to seek and implement new ways to boost our environmental sustainability. From refining our manufacturing processes to embracing green technologies, we aim to lead in sustainable business practices.
