Last week two agricultural trade fairs were held in parallel in Spain. We are talking about FIMA 2022 in Zaragoza and Expolevante 2022 in Nijar, where ITC was an exhibitor presenting its fertigation solutions.
The International Agricultural Machinery Trade Fair (FIMA) 2022, held at the Zaragoza exhibition centre, came to an end on Saturday 30th April, after welcoming more than 104,000 visitors since it opened on Tuesday 26th April. This is a far cry from last year’s edition in 2020 but, given the circumstances and the current situation, it leaves both exhibitors and visitors very satisfied.
Visitors showed their interest in the new technologies and innovations, as well as the versatility of ITC products, capable of adapting to all types of crops and the challenges they face.
Precision agriculture, new technologies and solutions for installations without mains electricity were the protagonists at this edition, with the possibility of remote control of the equipment exhibited by ITC.
Expolevante, held at the Campohermoso Exhibition and Conference Centre on 27, 28 and 29 April in what was already its fifteenth edition, saw its surface area increase by 35 percent since last year.
Despite the rain, it ended with an estimated total of 60,000 visitors who came to find out about the latest developments in the agricultural sector.
ITC showed the advantages of its high-precision fertigation system, which allows savings in electricity consumption, safer handling of chemicals, simplicity of installation and space saving, and which allows immediate establishment of EC and pH levels as well as a reduction in volumes and flow rates applied compared to other systems on the market.
During the last day we had the opportunity to have a lively chat with Ms. Esperanza Pérez, mayoress of Níjar, with whom we were able to talk about the importance of agriculture in the area, which allows it to become a living region. Esperanza was very pleased to meet companies like us who come from so far away and thanked us for our contribution of technology to her land.
